Volcano causes chaos, ash-trandedness

Volcanic ash from Iceland left a bunch of people unable to travel since I guess planes can’t fly through thick smokey earth-dust that gets shot up into the sky (pussies). The leader of Norway was one of those people stranded in NY by Iceland’s volcano but it was cool cuz he ran the country with his iPad. In other news–You can run Norway without multi-tasking

nice. and almost as good as this horrible non-pun headline from FoxNews.com that doesnt make any sense:

Ash-tranded?… the f#ck?… it doesnt meaning anything, it doesnt sound like “stranded”. its not a vernacular slang. its just, like my foreplay, fkkn weird and awkward, leaving others disappointed and confused.

Judge Judy filming captures California Quake

The magnitude 5.4 earthquake near Los Angeles on Tuesday interrupted the taping of the court show “Judge Judy” and the always-on broadcast of the CBS reality show “Big Brother.”

Pictures: Ohio flood aftermath

The AP reports that Findlay Service Director Mike Sobczyk says the damage to city-owned buildings and property will cost between $20 million and $31 million.

The city’s health department and wastewater treatment plant sustained serious damage. A number of city-owned trucks and vehicles are damaged, too.

City officials also have decided to tear down a community center that sits near the Blanchard River.

The river rose about 8 feet above flood stage last week, soaking much of the downtown and surrounding neighborhoods.
