^This is a win not only because its ambiguous enough to be played off as not being a pot reference (brilliant), since after all, Taco Bell is a billion dollar corporate franchise – but also for the hashtag “Ballin” being used by an official mouthpiece of said billion dollar corporate franchise. Love it!

April 20th is also, of course, the Fuhrers day of birth and this great addition was messaged to me:

“I don’t get it. What does Taco Bell have to do with Hitler’s birthday?”
“Both are responsible for gassing lots of people.”

Then over on Facebook they posted THIS…dude….

Update: since the site is in this drawn out server/format change limbo that makes me not approve comments for the time being (cuz they wont transfer over when the change happens anyway) – here is one from Facebook -

this probably has no relevance but last night this girl was selling pancakes and bacon to the drunk people for 5 bucks and i ate the single strip of bacon and then discus threw the pancake cuz they suck. So i payed 5 dollars for a glorious strip of bacon.

My favorite foods are fried things, cheese pizza and noodles. but I eat other things. In fact, I eat or will eat, everything in every food group that exists. as long as it’s plain. I’ll eat any meat from alligator to koala, any nut and any fruit or vegetable from brussel sprouts to noni fruit (except avocados). They’re all open range as long as they’re not sauced up or dumped all together and passed off as a new food item. Still though – dumb people trying to comprehend my eating habits without actually thinking about or investigating them at all conclude one thing: all I eat is pizza. or fried things. or noodles.

Well, there are lots of other adults where that is actually the case, and as people learn more about life and humans, more nuances are uncovered. For thousands of adults, picky eating isn’t something they can outgrow and it’s a real problem for a lot of people even though it’s not yet officially recognized as an eating disorder.

But Jenna doesn’t restrict her diet because she loves fried potatoes—in truth, she doesn’t enjoy them at all. Jenna suffers from an unusual eating sensitivity, which has compelled her to eat almost nothing but French fries, cheese pizza, and spaghetti ever since she graduated from Gerber baby food as a toddler.

Over the past few years, researchers have been struggling to explain the origins and causes of the condition, which is sometimes called extreme picky eating, food neophobia, or Selective Eating Disorder (SED). Some psychiatrists attribute it to anxiety around past traumatic experiences such as choking on a food with a particular texture. Others suggest it could stem from an ingrained phobia of trying unfamiliar things, or liken it to the extreme sensitivity to textures and smells that coincides with autism or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Because the condition often straddles the line between mental and food-related syndromes, however, it’s difficult to define and, as a result, even harder to treat. Extreme selective eating falls so under the radar that many health professionals are unaware of its life-altering social and medical effects. Almost all the selective eaters interviewed by The Daily Beast mentioned that their doctors had never heard of picky eating or its treatments.

It’s a disability, dammit!

But as they grow older, a limited diet can have life-altering consequences. They can’t “just try it,” as many say they’re pressured to do. (“That’s like telling an individual with Parkinson’s disease that they could stop shaking if they just tried to hold themselves still,” Amber Scott says.) In a culture that revolves around food, everyday activities such as dates, business dinners and weddings are stressful for picky eaters, who say they often make up excuses to refrain from eating and to avoid uncomfortable questions.

For Bob Krause, the consequences of picky eating came in the form of broken marriages, his decision to leave the Navy, and—in an attempt to avoid business dinners and potlucks—becoming self-employed. Until he was 53, Krause says, he truly believed he was the only person in the world with such unusual habits. In 2003, he launched an awareness-raising website called Picky Eating Adults, which quickly became a forum for thousands of selective eaters to swap advice, dietary habits and coping methods.

Cereal maker Kellogg Co has agreed to buy Pringles potato chips from Procter & Gamble Co for $2.7 billion in a cash deal that will nearly triple the cereal maker’s international snack business. Via Reuters:

The transaction will also let household goods maker P&G finally leave the food business after its agreement with Diamond Foods Inc fell apart.

Shares of Kellogg, which is aiming to expand a snack portfolio that already includes Keebler cookies, Cheez-It crackers and Kashi snack bars, rose 6 percent in Wednesday morning trading.

Adding Pringles chips to the mix will increase the size of Kellogg’s snack business to where it will account for as much of total revenue as its well-known cereal business, the world’s largest, with brands like Special K and Rice Krispies.

P&G had agreed to sell Pringles to Diamond Foods Inc last year, but that deal fell apart this month following the discovery of improper accounting that led Diamond to replace its chief executive and finance chief. The U.S. government is looking into Diamond’s accounting practices.

FINALLY, a politician is willing to tackle the important pressing issues our time. An Oklahoma senator has introduced a bill that would ban “the manufacture or sale of food or products which use aborted human fetuses.”

To that end, his proposed statute reads, “No person or entity shall manufacture or knowingly sell food or any other product intended for human consumption which contains aborted human fetuses in the ingredients or which used aborted human fetuses in the research or development of any of the ingredients.”

My own research suggests that Shortey may have noticed a boycott directed at PepsiCo, which since 2010 has worked with flavor research firm Senomyx to develop sweeteners and other flavorings.

Based in San Diego, Senomyx has been accused of using proteins derived from human embryonic kidney cells in its research, which has been used by many large food companies. An article in the Miami New Times summarizes those claims, notes the company’s denial of them — and also notes that in 2003, the company filed a patent for “recombinant methods for expressing a functional sweet taste receptor.”

Gawker has coverage of this story that you should go check out, letting you know which product are aborted fetus free and which may not be…

Click the dial to how many people are eating and it shows you the amount of noodles to make???? What sorcery is this!? I must get one of these! I am constantly making the wrong amounts of spaghettizez…

Idk what I’m more fascinated by: the fact that theres a product sales place called JosephJoseph or that they sell this simple but wonderful item.

Plus, I really like the camera shutter slash futuristic electronic door opening. If I bought this product I would constantly look through it and pretend my spaghetti was James Bond while humming the tune and splashing tomato sauce on it at the appropriate musical cue. I also think it goes without saying that I’d have to to put my d#ck through it so I could see how many people it feeds. Naturally.

This innovative, compact spaghetti measure provides an adjustable portion guide for 1-4 servings. Simply slide the small lever around the side of the disc, opening the camera-style aperture to the required portion size. Made from high quality polypropylene, its available in a variety of colours.

You know it’s a UK product cuz of the way they spelled “colors”. Psh. Damn You K’ers for your superior noodle preparing technology…

UPDATE: It took me years into my adult life to work up the chemistry skills to boil water in order to make noodles so I havent made it to making my own rice at home yet, but I imagine the same problem would persist. So while I can’t claim I have this issue yet, the following is still lulzy. A viewer sent me this:
