Had my first try of some Chick-Fil-A menu items just now. Got a strawberry milkshake, chicken nuggets, chicken strips and waffle fries (the only fries they sell) for me and a grilled chicken sandwich for someone else.
The shakes are excellent. I was surprised by the quality of all of it, actually. Tasted like chicken and potatoes and milk+strawberries instead of the usual fast food processed-to-hell garbage I was kindov expecting. I was kindov enjoying the thought of writing up a “this food sucks so bad id rather have a dudes junk in my mouth than this crap” type of review but it was quality shiz.
Way to go, Haters. i would have never had anything Chick-Fil-A probably in my life, ever, had y’all not lost your shit for 2 weeks of hatespeech trying to smear and destroy the livelihood of someone for being a Christian.
Not that i’m anti-Christian or anything, but I do think it’s only fair to religious people for me to note that I am not religious. I just support free-enterprise and i’m against hate and discrimination. I know the people who hate and discriminate against Chick-Fil-A think they are on the just and moral side, but…that makes no sense.
It would only make sense if it was led by…eh…actual hateful bigots (protip: being a Christian doesnt auto-make a person hateful or a bigot. it actually has no bearing on either of those things whatsoever. jerks are jerks regardless of their religion).
People keep saying that the Co’s president donated to “anti gay hate groups”, yet, when I ask, I receive zero anti-gay hate group evidence. Instead I get…mainstream Christian organizations (like Focus on the Family – which, when I searched for “gay” on their website, I got an article telling their followers that it is wrong not to react to a gay child coming out with anything but love because they are not being gay to be against the parent and that withholding love to a gay child is a sin…those bastards) and am forced to facepalm. and then go eat Chick-Fil-A.
I’m sure glad i dont let disagreeing with a business owner about something affect my enjoyment of their product. free enterprise is awesome. which is why most Christians still go to movies despite hollywood supporting inequality when it comes to their religion or why i still gorge myself on Cherry Garcia despite Ben & Jerry supporting inequality when it comes to regulating and taxing [literally]-to-death my small business.
Hippies and others with a Leftist mentality, however are unable to differentiate businesses from business owners because at their core they are anti-enterprise and pro-big government. Which also makes no sense. Chick-Fil-A can’t arrest gay people for getting boners for looking at guys. Governments can. Businesses can’t do anything except sell you a product or service. Governments can do whatever the hell they want if not properly restrained.
The inside had a 2-3 person line around 3pm but the drivethrough was consistently packed from when I went in and came out. I asked some of the employees how the reaction has been and they said theyve been getting lots of verbal support, several cards, letters and someone even bought them a pizza in case they were tired of chicken (ha). Such haters, right? Card writing, pizza buying, friendly supportive little Eichmanns. To hell with them! or something…
UPDATE: aaaaand another one bites the dust (another person deleting me on facebook, that is). 
I asked if she deleted me because I said something wrong and she’d rather disassociate with people who are wrong about something instead of educating them or if everything I said was accurate and she just gave me the boot cuz she doesnt associate with people who…er… know things. No answer, obvs.
